BOXING CLASSES
Boxing is one of the greatest workouts anyone can do. It is often the most popular as it is so bound by rules that limit you to punches only. This gives the impression that it is the easiest and in some instances this is correct. However being so limited one must be willing to put in the gruelling hours required to master every aspect of boxing.
Here at Darkside Gym we focus on footwork, head movement and efficient movement. Our boxing style is varied as we touch on each of the main styles such as Cuban, Mexican, European, Philly Shell and even showboaty. Each style needs to be taught so that a boxer has an answer for anything and everything that is thrown their way.
Although boxing can be incredibly technical it is one of the most enjoyable of all combat sports and its popularity is no surprise once you try a class. So don't wait too long, take the first step and give boxing a try.

In the Boxing Fundamentals classes you will learn the 'sweet science' of boxing.

ADVANCED BOXING

Advanced boxing is a class that applies the skills you have learnt in the boxing fundamentals classes. With the understanding of all 6 punches, slips, weaves, angles, positioning and footwork, this class pieces together combinations and drills from defence, attack and set positions.
